Kinds of saws
18 Volt Saw

Once you buy the fence you will have it for the rest of your life so make sure to select with caution.
Cabinet saws: These are heavy duty equipment types. Mostly employed by cabinet makers who are into the profession, these cabinet saws arrive with much larger tables. However their footprint is relatively small. The motor comes with range of a minimum of 3 HP. All cabinet saws need a 220 volt current so you might need to get the services of an electrician to create a separate line for this. The cabinet saws provide much more accurate cuts as compared to other saws.
You choice of saw will largely depend on whether you require a stationary or a portable type of saw. A portable saw will not take much space up from your workshop and can easily be carried from one place to another. Also all the portable saws of today can accomplish the same things that a stationary saw can.
You need to install and leave stationary saws in one single place. Being too large sized and heavy they cannot be moved easily. These saws have much more power and are provided with a host of accessories. You will find that stationary models are rather costly and even consume a whole lot of space in your workshop.
Safety tips to follow
Make sure to never wear loosely fitted clothes or clothes which have long sleeves. The cloth can easily get caught in the saw causing fatal injuries.
You need to keep the surrounding area near the saw free of sawdust and wood pieces. If you accidentally slip you could land straight on the blade of the saw.
Make sure that the saw has stopped turning totally before you try to make adjustments or reach across the blade.
Always wear shoes which have soles with a good grip. The best choices would be sneakers or work boots.
Before you go about changing blades or doing regular maintenance work make sure to unplug the saw always.
